Arcata Community Pool

► Current Board of Directors Agenda: The next meeting is scheduled for October 20, 2021.  For the agenda click here or see the Board of Directors tab.

Everyone regardless of vaccination status must be wearing masks inside the facility and should socially distance when in the pool itself.

Guidance from the California Department of Public Health can be found here.

Lap lanes can now have two customers at a time.  It is suggested that they be from the same household, known to each other, and vaccinated. Deep end and shallow end can have up to eight customers each.

Please help us and your community by continuing to be respectful of the ever changing guidelines and to each other.....

Welcome back!

A new reservation system has been put into place as we reopen.  This system will allow customers to have a reserved space and time for lap lanes, the shallow area, and the deep area.  Customers will be able to schedule and plan their work out times for these areas.  It will also facilitate important safety measures that have been put into place to ensure physical distancing, maintain the appropriate numbers of people in the facility, and to add to financial viability during this time period of reduced activity.

NOTE:   IN LIGHT OF DEMAND FOR POOL USE, WE REINFORCE AN EXISTING POLICY: Regardless of your reserved hour, you may not use lap lanes for two consecutive hours if a paying patron is waiting to use a lane.  Lap lanes can now have two swimmers at a time.  It is suggested that they be from the same household, known to each other and vacinated.

Lap Lanes: There are six lanes total, three are first come-first served, three for reservation Click here

*A reservation does not mean you will get the shallow end all to yourself. It does mean that you are guaranteed your space in the shallow area of the pool during your time slot.

Deep Area:  Click here We have eliminated reservations for the deep area for the time being. Drop-ins are always welcome.
