ARCATA COMMUNITY POOL LEARN-TO-SWIM PROGRAM

The Arcata Community Pool's Learn-to-Swim program gives children a positive, developmentally appropriate approach to aquatic learning. These American Red Cross Swimming lessons teach people of all ages to swim and be safe in and around water. Swimming readiness and swim instruction courses within this program include Parent and Child Aquatics, Preschool Aquatics and the Learn-to-Swim courses. Classes are 30 minutes. Discounts are available for families that receive benefits from the following programs: Medical, Cal Works and/or SSI Disability. Potential recipients of our subsidized swim lesson program must sign up in person and show proof of eligibility, including a valid photo ID.

PRIVATE SWIM LESSONS
One-on-one and semi-private swim lessons are available for folks of all ages and swimming abilities.

1 student: $40 per half hour session

2 students:$55 per half hour session

SCHOOL GROUP LESSONS

We offer 50 minute lessons for schools and other large groups, ages 6 and up, during the school year on weekdays with a 5 lesson minimum booking.

1 – 24 participants: $260.00

25 – 35 participants: $325.00

CANCELLATION AND REFUND POLICY

We reserve the right to cancel or modify any activity due to insufficient participation or other conditions beyond our control. When ACP cancels an activity, all fees collected are fully refundable or transferable. Should a class or activity be cancelled by a participant’s own volition, no refunds will be given within seven days prior to the activity. Refund requests more than seven days before the activity will be assessed a $5.00 fee. A transfer may be made one time, and there are no refunds after the initial transfer.
